Sondu · we are hiring · Costa Blanca
We built the software. What we do not have is anybody knocking on doors.
One person, ten hours a week, walking into salons on the Costa Blanca and showing them Sondu. A real Spanish contract with a small base, and 20% of every salon you sign, every month, for the whole first year. To apply you send a sixty second voice note. There is no CV and there is no form.
Everything, before you have to ask for it
The job, in one look.
One table. No asterisks. The same way we price the software, for the same reason: anything worth burying at the bottom of an advert is worth arguing about later, and we would rather not.
All figures exclude the employer's own social security contributions, which are ours to pay and not yours to think about. The base is gross.
Before the money, what the thing actually is
Ten hours a week, spent almost entirely on your feet.
Sondu is booking and messaging software for salons, clinics and studios. It is built here on the Costa Blanca, it has paying customers, and it works. What it does not have is anybody knocking on doors. That is the whole job.
What the ten hours are
- Walking into salons, barbers, clinics and studios and starting a conversation with somebody who was not expecting you.
- Showing Sondu on a phone, in whichever language the person in front of you would rather use.
- Getting the interested ones onto a proper demo, and going back to the ones who said not today.
- Writing down what happened, so the next visit starts where the last one stopped rather than at the beginning.
And what they are not
- Not commission only. There is a contract and a nómina whatever kind of month you have had.
- Not a call centre. Almost none of this happens sitting down.
- Not a franchise, a licence, or anything you pay us for. Money moves in one direction here.
- Not full time, and we are not going to pretend ten hours is thirty.
Including the two parts nobody enjoys printing
How the commission actually behaves.
Recurring commission is worth far more than a finder's fee, and it comes with conditions that a finder's fee does not. Here are ours, in the advert, rather than on page four of a contract.
Not on the signature. Sondu is thirty days free with no card at signup, so a signature is not yet a customer. The first invoice proves they meant it. The second is when you start getting paid, and then it pays every month.
If an account cancels or fails to pay within 90 days of its first payment, that commission comes back off. After 90 days nothing claws it back. We would rather you read that here than find it in a payslip.
Text credits, AI overage and broadcast email are bought close to cost and pay no commission. That is deliberate. Nobody here should ever have a reason to sell a salon something it does not need.
€305 a month, across 14 payments a year. It is not an advance against commission and it is not deducted from anything. It arrives whether you sign five salons that month or none.
Commission counts towards your holiday pay. That is the law rather than a favour, but plenty of employers on this coast manage to forget it, so it is written down here.
What one salon is worth, with the sums shown
We can show you the arithmetic. We cannot show you a forecast.
Everything below is one published price, multiplied. It is not a projection, an average or an expectation, because we have no honest way of knowing how many salons you will sign and a number we invented would read as a promise.
A salon on a bigger plan pays more and so do you. A salon that takes two products pays more again. After the first year the rate is 15% and it keeps arriving for as long as that salon stays with us and you stay with us.
Rule yourself in, or out, without writing to us first
Four things, and only two of them are negotiable.
You will pitch in Spanish to one salon and in English to the next one on the same street. Neither can be the one you apologise for.
Behind the chair, ran a salon, or already rep into the trade. We would rather teach the product to somebody who knows the room than teach the room to somebody who knows selling.
A quiet Tuesday, somebody holding a pair of scissors, and no appointment. If that thought makes you feel ill, this is not the job and we would rather you kept your sixty seconds.
Mornings, three afternoons, whatever fits round the rest of your life. What matters is being there when a salon is quiet, not being there when it suits a rota.
Not on the list, and deliberately: a CV, a degree, a sales record, a LinkedIn profile, or how old you are.
Sixty seconds, and that is the whole application
Send us a voice note. Not a CV.
A CV tells us where somebody has been. This job is ninety per cent talking to a stranger who did not ask you to come in, so we would rather hear you do it than read about it.
Thirty in Spanish, thirty in English. Sell us anything you like: a pen, a holiday, yourself. We are not marking the pitch, we are listening for somebody who can talk to a stranger without freezing.
0034 865 760 422. One tap from your phone. No form, no account, no covering letter, and nothing to upload.
If it lands, you get a call. If that goes well we meet in person and go through the contract line by line before anybody signs anything.
No hace falta CV. Si el audio nos gusta, te llamamos.
Asked before you have to ask them
The questions people would rather not have to ask an employer.
No. A part time contract, a monthly nómina and alta en la Seguridad Social from day one. The base is small and we have printed it rather than buried it, but it turns up whatever kind of month you have had.
The commission is where the money is, and it is recurring rather than a one off finder’s fee. Both of those things are true at the same time.
A salon on Sondu Schedule Team pays €65 a month. Your 20% of that is €13 a month, so that one salon is €156 across its first year, then €10 a month for as long as it stays.
Bigger salons pay more, and a salon that takes two products pays more again. How many you sign is the part nobody can promise you, us included.
Inside 90 days of their first payment, the commission comes back off. After that it does not, and it keeps paying for as long as they are with us and you are with us.
Yes, as long as it is not for a competitor. Ten hours a week is built to sit beside something else, and most of the people we expect to hear from already have something else.
No. You need to be able to open the app on a phone and show somebody their own diary inside it. If you can run an Instagram account you can run Sondu.
You will be trained on the product properly, and you will not be sent out to answer questions we have not given you the answers to.
Send the voice note. We have said salon credibility comes first because it does, but we would rather hear you and decide than never hear you at all.
One. This is not a scheme with a hundred reps in it and a territory the size of a postcode.
If it lands, we ring you. If that goes well we meet in person and go through the contract line by line before anybody signs anything. No panel, no assessment day, no personality test.
The next step, and it takes a minute
Sixty seconds. Thirty in Spanish, thirty in English.
Pitch us anything you like. If we think you could walk into a salon on a quiet Tuesday and start a conversation, you will hear from us. If we do not, you will still hear from us, because being left in silence is a horrible way to be turned down.
